Purchasing Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Controller to oversee procurement reporting, monitor supplier performance, control costs, and provide insights that help drive strategic purchasing decisions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and data-driven management within the purchasing function.

Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze purchasing KPIs, budgets, and spend performance across multiple categories and locations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and track the impact of purchasing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tools for real-time procurement insights.
• Perform variance analysis between actuals and targets, highlighting risks and proposing corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier compliance in terms of pricing, contractual terms, and service levels.
• Assist in evaluating tenders, quotes, and contracts from a financial perspective.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement policies, processes, and systems.
• Monitor and enforce contract compliance to ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and pricing agreements.
• Help ensure procurement activities comply with internal controls and company guidelines

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or in related fields
• Minimum 3 years experience in procurement controlling, finance, or purchasing analysis preferably in the foodservice
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, QuickSight, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Advance knowledge of ERP and procurement systems
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, can-do attitude, proactivity
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
• Fluent in Spanish and English
