Full stack Software Engineer (Python & React) Tech Lead

Barcelona based (Hybrid)

Contract: Permanent or Freelance

Idioms required: English and Spanish mandatory

Context & Mission

For a global leader in IoT remote monitoring, working with 200+ engineering partners and connecting 65,000+ sensors worldwide, we are looking for Fullstack Software Engineer that will design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-based solutions powering cutting-edge IoT products, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

What You’ll Do

Build and scale cloud platforms & core applications

Develop robust back-end (Python / FastAPI) and front-end (React) solutions

Collaborate with engineers, designers & product teams on end-to-end systems

Deploy and manage solutions in cloud environments ☁️

Write clean, reusable, and high-quality code

Ensure testing, documentation & performance best practices

Mentor junior developers & contribute to code reviews

Required skills

4+ years in software development (full-stack)

Strong experience with Python (FastAPI)

Solid knowledge of React ⚛️

Experience with Docker & Linux environments

Knowledge of Git & version control

Passion for IoT, problem-solving & technical challenges

Nice to have

Experience with C/C++, Java, or TypeScript

Familiarity with Kubernetes (nice to have)

Background in distributed systems or advanced frameworks

Networking basics & cloud deployment experience
