The person we’re looking for:

PUBG Spain is looking for a QA Tester to work at our studio in Zaragoza, to work in a cooperative, cross-disciplinary environment ensuring the quality of our game throughout the development process.

As a key member you will contribute to the success of the team by driving and maintaining testing processes on our new IP, working closely with the Gameplay, Rendering, and Technical Art teams to detect, track, and verify issues, as well as to improve overall workflows and product stability. This position reports to the Gameplay & Visuals Technical Director in Spain.

Responsibilities:

• Test game features, content, and systems to ensure quality and stability throughout development.


• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.


• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and accurately.


• Collaborate with Gameplay, Rendering, and Technical Art teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.


• Provide clear and constructive feedback to developers regarding usability, playability, and performance.


• Help improve QA processes and workflows to increase efficiency and test coverage.


• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes don’t negatively affect existing features.


• Assist in build validation and smoke testing to secure reliable development milestones.


• Communicate progress and testing results effectively to team leads and producers.


• Foster a culture of open, honest, and respectful communication across all disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of professional experience in QA within the game industry.


• Familiarity with game development processes and workflows.


• Experience testing games on PC and preferably current generation consoles (PS5 or XSX).


• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify, document, and track issues clearly.


• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA and version control systems like Perforce.


• Ability to follow testing plans, create test cases, and perform regression testing.


• Proactive, self-directed, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective cross-team collaboration.


• A demonstrable love / passion for playing video games.


• Fluency in English language.
