React Native Developer

A React Native developer at TF Bank create and develop mobile applications for products and services provided to our customers. Working with other Developers, QA Engineers, Team Leads and Delivery Managers throughout the software development cycle.

In this role at TF Bank, a React Native Developer should be a team player with a keen eye for details and problem-solving skills, and have experience in Agile frameworks and React Native popular libraries (e.g. React Redux or React Native Navigations).

React Engineers goal is to build efficient web applications that serve user needs.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
• Analyzing requirements and designing new functionality
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Monitoring and improving Mobile UI performance
• Documenting application changes and developing updates
• Handling code reviews

Skills and Qualifications:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Proficient in English (B1/B2 level)
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
