Job Purpose:

Our team plays a crucial role within GSK Spain organization, focusing on generating robust evidence to support the value of our innovative products. Positioned within the Medical Affairs department, our team collaborates across Therapeutic Areas (TAs) closely with various internal stakeholders including Market Access and Commercial functions to ensure the successful delivery of evidence that meets patient, physician but also regulatory and payer requirements.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real-World Data & Real-World Evidence Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement real-world evidence studies, contributing to the proper data analysis and interpretation in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support our product portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the data driven approach, advancing healthcare through rigorous research and evidence-based decision-making.

In this role, you will...

Real-World Data

• To become a trusted partner within the Medical Affairs Spanish organization, advising across TA’s how to address any given research question by pragmatic approaches and different statistical methods to solve actionable evidence gaps.

• To contribute the mapping of the existing real-world data sources including innovative and IA methods to contribute the company data driven approach.

Real-World Evidence

Planning

• Contribute within the Medical Team across Therapeutic Areas (TAs), defining evidence gaps and local evidence generation strategies and projects, consistent with the global and regional plans and local needs & scientific objectives.

Evidence Strategy

• Contribute to the development of Local Integrated Evidence Plans (IEPs) across TAs, based on local needs/GAPs identified. To help identify synergies across the GSK portfolio when developing the strategy for evidence generation activities.

Evidence Publication & Communication Impact

• Contribute to the creation of the Local Strategic Publications plans in collaboration with Medical to maximize the internal impact of the LOC publication and external presence in conferences and congresses.

Study Design & Study Delivery contribution

• Solve statistical questions to any LOCs colleagues. Contribute the study document development including study concepts, protocol, statistical analysis plans or other RWE related document development in alignment with strategic objectives.

• Bsc in in health science & Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or PharmD) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, health economics, or a related field.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, or academia
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate technical/statistical and complex concepts and results effectively to a variety of audiences to impact decision making in both written and verbal English.
• Ability to function and to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and multi-cultural setting. Agility in addressing multiple requests and.
