Your mission
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Specialist to join our growing Legal team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our operations in Mexico, while also providing regional legal support across Peru, Colombia, and other LATAM countries. - Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, partners, and financial institutions (including services, payments, licensing, NDAs).
- Provide legal analysis and practical guidance on local fintech and financial regulations, including those applicable to payment service providers (PSPs) or PayTech vertical, virtual wallets, acquiring, and digital assets.
- Monitor and interpret regulations issued by CNBV (Mexico), and preferably also SBS (Peru) and SFC (Colombia).
- Strong knowledge in LatAm fintech environment, with focus on Mexico, Perú or Colombia
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of internal policies related to privacy, data protection, AML, and T&Cs.
- Support corporate legal matters, including legal entity setup, governance updates, and company record keeping.
- Assist in legal risk assessment for new market entries, partnerships, product launches, or licensing efforts across the region.
- Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams (e.g. product, compliance, commercial, operations), enabling legally sound and business-oriented decision-making.
