Senior Software Architect (Backend Java)

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join our tech team in Barcelona. We need your expertise to drive the evolution of our platform and tackle everyday challenges related to scalability, low-latency, and high-throughput design.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Barcelona.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with deep, hands-on experience in architecture and systems design for complex, high-volume backend solutions. You'll be instrumental in shaping our platform's future, focusing on its core infrastructure and performance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• +5 years as a Software Architect with a strong focus on system design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale, distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing low-latency, high-throughput and scalable platforms.
• Solid understanding and direct experience with Key-Value stores and in-memory databases (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
• Strong fundamentals of modern CI/CD frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Expertise in Linux, Git, Docker & Docker-Compose, and AWS Cloud services.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) 

Bonus Points:

• Direct experience bringing new solutions to an Infrastructure team, specifically around performance optimization and scalability challenges.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Python.
