RETAIL VISIBILITY & MECHANDISING PROJECT SPECIALIST

In this role, you will be responsible for leading retail visibility and permanent merchandising projects across Spain and Portugal, ensuring best-in-class execution at point of sale while maintaining alignment with global brand standards.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE! 

As our Visual & Merchandising Project Specialist you will manage projects from initial briefing through production and implementation, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Procurement, Global teams and external suppliers.

You will be reporting to the Visibility and Merchandising Manager. The ideal candidate combines project management expertise with a strong understanding of retail furniture production and execution, being able to independently manage multiple stakeholders, suppliers and projects simultaneously while ensuring excellence at point of sale:

• Lead permanent merchandising and furniture projects for Prestige brands.


• Manage projects from concept development to final implementation.


• Coordinate suppliers throughout design, production, logistics and installation phases.


• Control project budgets and CAPEX investments.


• Develop implementation plans and monitor project timelines.


• Prepare business cases, investment proposals and project reports.


• Support retailer negotiations by providing visibility and merchandising solutions.


• Ensure all executions meet Coty's quality and brand standards.


• Conduct store visits and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.


• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance retail visibility.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You are a highly organized and results-driven professional who enjoys managing complex projects in a fast-paced retail environment. You thrive when balancing multiple priorities and are able to maintain strong attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.

Other than that, you:

• Have 4-6 years of experience in Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising or Project Management.


• Degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field, with technical knowledge of retail furniture, technical drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.


• Previous experience managing retail projects for beauty, luxury or cosmetics brands is highly valued.


• Experience working with Perfumery retailers and department stores will be considered a strong advantage.


• Have solid knowledge of retail furniture development, materials, manufacturing processes and technical drawings.


• Have experience managing suppliers, production timelines and installation projects.


• Have experience controlling budgets and CAPEX investments.


• Are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


• Demonstrate excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills.


• Proactive, focused and solution-oriented. Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Fluent in English and Spanish.


• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
