Risk Manager

Job Summary: Reporting to the Group Risk and Audit Director, you will be bringing best practice experience in managing risk across an international organisation.  As a senior risk professional, you will be expected to help mature the risk framework and challenge the status quo. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can make an impact on and help propel the business risk strategy. 

What you'll be doing:

• Promote risk management across the organisation


• Help formulate and promote risk policies, appetite and strategy


• Help develop, implement and maintain the most effective risk framework for the business 


• Establish and maintain an effective framework/system for recording key risks and controls, for recording accountable owners and for management of actions to address out of tolerance risks


• Assist the Group Risk and Audit Director with risk workshops and deep dives


• Ensure the smooth running of the management Risk Committee 


• Regularly meet with the business functions on all matters risk


• Provide specialist and technical risk advice and support to executive committees 


• Collaborate with the wider Risk and Audit team 


• Provide insights to management and relevant Committees

What we are looking for: 

• Minimum 10 years risk management experience.


• Must be from a risk background.


• Must have experience of working with international teams


• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels including senior stakeholders and external parties.
