Descripción del trabajo - Sales Director Defense & Security

Tus tareas

Define and implement the commercial strategy within the Defense & Security sector.
Identify and develop new business opportunities related to optronic systems (electro-optics, infrared systems, surveillance, night vision, etc.).
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including Ministries of Defense, public institutions, system integrators, and international partners.
Lead complex bidding processes, including public tenders and private proposals.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
Represent the company at international exhibitions, industry events, and high-level meetings.
Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to ensure high performance.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements in the defense industry.

Tu perfil

Minimum of 8–10 years of commercial experience in the Defense & Security sector.
Proven expertise in optronic systems and related technologies.
Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and long, complex sales cycles.
Fluent in English (C1 level or higher); additional languages are a plus.
Strong experience with public procurement processes and government contracting.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
