About the role

Main responsibilities

• Recording of daily transactions in the Cero’s accounting systems. 

• Preparation of financial statements of project companies. 

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements of operating companies. 

• Contribute as required to Spanish statutory reporting and audits. 

• Assisting with the preparation of the consolidated monthly reporting to Group. 

• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation. 

• Collaborate in the filing of DDJJ of taxes in Spain (VAT, IS, IAE, etc.). 

• Collaborate in the preparation of cost and ad hoc reports based on accounting information. 

 What will you need to succeed in the role?

• Accounting qualification, technically strong with a good understanding of Spanish accounting standards and IFRS, and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. 

• Experience in consolidated financial statements. 

• Ability to exercise judgement, solve problems, support decision-making, and communicate financial information. 

• Fluent in English. 

• Energetic and highly motivated, able to operate in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships across the organisation. 

• Knowledge of SAP Business by Design, and OneStream systems preferred. 

• Knowledge of renewable energy activities is preferable, but not essential.
