- Backend: Python with FastAPI, Django, and Celery, leveraging clean architecture principles to build robust, scalable APIs and efficiently manage asynchronous task processing.
- Frontend: ReactJS, delivering a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS Cloud, providing the backbone for our highly available and scalable infrastructure.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker for containerized application management, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments.
- Databases: PostgreSQL for relational data storage, Redis and MongoDB, designed for scalability and high performance.
- API Design: OpenAPI standards for clear, maintainable, and scalable API development
- CI/CD: GHA, continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines enabling fast, efficient deployments.
- Testing: Unit tests, automated end-to-end (e2e) testing, quality gates to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaboration Tools: Agile workflows powered by Jira and Confluence to keep our teams aligned and efficient.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be a key player in building and shaping our platform. You will design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, so you will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other teams to align our technical solutions with business goals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain backend solutions using programming languages such as Python, ReactJS, Docker and AWS Cloud technologies.
- Develop and optimize APIs to support various frontend applications and external integrations, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Write automated unit tests and integration tests to validate backend functionality and ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to conduct thorough testing and debugging, and address any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of backend systems, APIs, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure code maintainability.
- Share technical insights and best practices with team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and workflows.
- Proactively provide technical knowledge and support to junior and other senior backend engineers.
- Work closely with frontend engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Python developer.
- Strong expertise in developing, deploying, and maintaining web-based applications using Python, or a strong willingness and ability to work with it.
- Commitment to writing clean, efficient, and high-quality code.
- Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
