(Senior) Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d) - Dynamics D365FO

That moment when a vague business challenge becomes a clean, technically feasible D365 solution—close to the feature standard, light on customization, and built to remain maintainable rather than becoming a patchwork of workarounds.

You build internal solutions that feel customer-centric and lightweight in the user interface while remaining technically clean, close to standard, and easy to maintain behind the scenes. We are a neutral Data-as-a-Service connector serving the global automotive aftermarket. With more than 1,100 employees and customers in 140 countries, we enable the market—we never compete with it.

The position can be performed on a full-time or part-time basis, with a minimum workload of 32 hours per week.

Why this role is different

• Most companies ask consultants to document requirements.

• We ask you to challenge them.

• You start with the problem, not the solution.

• You help stakeholders understand what is possible within D365FO, reducing unnecessary complexity and increasing the use of standard functionality wherever possible.

• A real success story: Turning a process built on 80% customization into one that delivers the same business value with only 20% customization due to the knowledge of a new feature. And that´s exactly where your happy place is.

What makes you successful

• In-depth experience in D365 Finance & Operations

• Strong understanding of Lead-to-Cash processes

• Discovery mindset and ability to work with ambiguity

• Hands-on configuration experience in D365FO

• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to bridge business expectations and technical possibilities

• Microsoft certification (e.g., MB-330) is an advantage

• Fluent English, ideally German

• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time, primarily domestic, with occasional international trips lasting a few days at a time
