Senior IT Infrastructure and Cloud Architect

As a brand specialized in the development of GMP projects of consulting, engineering, construction and integrated process equipment, we serve companies linked to the life sciences market (pharmaceutical and biotechnology, healthcare, cosmetics, veterinary and food industries), as well as hospitals, laboratories and research centers. We also offer solutions with the application of vacuum and high vacuum technologies for traditional and high-tech industries in the energy and aerospace sectors, as well as scientific experimentation.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and supporting IT projects. You will work at the intersection of modern datacenter environments, cloud solutions, and the implementation of new IT infrastructure technologies.

• You lead and support IT projects for the setup and optimization of complex IT infrastructures, including Active Directory, servers, backup, storage, and database management.
• You are taking care of the management of public cloud environments as well as external service providers to ensure smooth operations and the implementation of new solutions.
• Assessment of IT solutions in terms of compliance with standards, cost-effectiveness, and future viability.
• Development and support of rollout and migration strategies.
• Optimization of the IT landscape regarding performance, load balancing, and security.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary, international teams and projects, in both classic and agile environments.
• Provide professional technical advice to developers, application owners, stakeholders, and business units.

• Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualifications.
• Skilled in leading and supporting IT projects.
• Expertise in managing external teams and service providers.
• Hands-on experience in server, storage, and database environments as well as virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with public cloud environments, preferably with certification in Azure and AWS.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, precise and implementation-oriented working style
• Willingness to travel (approx. 25%)
• Very good written and spoken English skills complete your profile
