Senior Resident Quality Assurance (QA)
Inspector – Based in Spain

Client: U.S. scientific research organization
(DOE-affiliated)

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee manufacturing activities at a copper coil
  fabrication site in Spain.
  
• Review technical documentation (SOW, specs, drawings,
  etc.).
  
• Monitor and document manufacturing quality compliance and
  risks.
  
• Provide weekly written + visual reports of progress and
  issues.
  
• Collaborate with U.S.-based QA, technical, and PM teams.
  
• Travel to nearby sub-supplier facilities (<75km) for
  oversight as needed.
  

Requirements

What You Bring:

• 10+ years in industry, 5+ in QA/QC oversight
  (manufacturing-focused).
  
• Strong knowledge of QA standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME
  NQA-1, AS9100, DOE O414.1D).
  
• Experience with copper coil manufacturing, epoxy resins,
  fiberglass insulation, and VPI (a plus).
  
• Strong English communication skills (written &
  verbal).
  
• Ability to write reports, raise concerns diplomatically,
  and follow up on corrective actions.
  
• Work Environment:
  
• Combination of factory floor QA oversight and
  office-based documentation work.
  
• Must be able to stand/walk during extended oversight
  tasks.
