Senior Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to independently support product deployment and service releases for our current and future customers. Reporting to the Manager of Solutions Engineering, this position requires a high level of technical expertise and initiative during the installation, deployment, and maintenance phases of AXON Networks' award-winning software products.

The Senior Solutions Engineer will be primarily responsible for the analysis and implementation of complex technical system requirements, ensuring that all project technical needs are met with minimal supervision. Working closely with Product Management, Data Analytics and R&D teams, as well as externally focused members of the Technical Sales and Sales team, this position works to ensure that AXON Networks solution is fully functioning according to specifications within our customer’s environment. 

The Senior Solutions Engineer may also provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications. You will be part of an amazing global team that works in a very fast-paced and innovative  environment. Responsibilities: 

• Independently participate in deployment projects, maintaining high quality standards and meeting tight timelines.


• Proactively communicate and follow up on project status and deliverables by reporting regularly to external and internal stakeholders.


• Lead the gathering of requirements from customers and develop technical solutions to customize products that fit the customer’s needs.


• Provide advanced technical support to customers, working closely with AXON Networks Technical Experts.


• Manage the installation, configuration, and testing of AXON Networks products and solutions, including occasional interventions outside of usual business hours.


• Prepare and manage technical environments for AXON Networks product demonstrations and trials.

Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.S. Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent


• More than +7 years of experience in a similar or related role.


• Knowledge of database models and their use through SQL


• Familiarity with object-oriented software languages


• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Linux Bash.


• Knowledge of network or telecom management systems and devices, specifically as they pertain to xDSL, optical fiber and WiFi related systems.


• Advanced Linux experience and familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, ) are preferred.


• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)


• Proficiency in providing technical support, gathering requirements, and presenting results to both technical and non-technical customers


• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams (Sales, Product Management, R&D Teams, etc.)


• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Open to hybrid work in Madrid and up to 10% international travel.
