NTT DATA is seeking a passionate Senior/Lead Data Scientist to bridge the gap between pure commercial business needs and cutting-edge analytical engines, establishing a connection between business areas and our team of data scientists. We're looking for a data analysis and artificial intelligence expert to drive data-driven business strategies. If you have experience in the Utilities & Energy sector in areas such as generation (especially renewables), transport, distribution, commercial, energy management, asset and infrastructure management, operation and maintenance, up/mid/down stream, we want you to join our innovative team!

Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics Engineering, Economics, or Physics. Courses in Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Big Data, or similar fields are a plus.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Advanced Analytics and Data Science related to the Utilities & Energy sector or Oil & Gas sector (generation, transport, distribution, commercial, energy management, asset and infrastructure management, operation and maintenance, up/mid/down stream)

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the link between business users' needs and the design of innovative analytical models that transform the industry.
• Collaborate with technology areas to analyze information sources and uncover valuable opportunities.
• Develop impactful business analyses leading to revolutionary business conclusions.
• Apply state-of-the-art Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning… techniques to solve real-world problems.
• Coordinate and lead teams of 2-3 people, managing cutting-edge, successful projects.
• Build multidisciplinary relationships between business and technology, fostering growth and collaboration.

Skills:

Required:

• Descriptive and exploratory statistics applied to detecting patterns and trends in data.
• Expert knowledge in Python.
• SQL and relational databases to fully leverage information.
• Advanced Machine Learning and Analytics techniques, utilizing state-of-the-art artificial intelligence solutions.
• Agile project and team management, applying effective methodologies.
• Visualization and communication with clients, mastering tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Dash, Streamlit, etc.
• AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3; RDS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, Step Functions, CloudWhatch,…)

Valuable:

• Big Data technologies: Spark, Hadoop, Impala, etc.
• Other cloud analytical platforms and services: Azure, GCP
• Text Analytics, Deep Learning, Process Mining to extract maximum value from data.
• SAS
