$CHZis the native digital token for the Chiliz sports & entertainment ecosystem currently powering Socios.com and the Chiliz Chain blockchain.

Socios.comis a fan engagement and rewards app that allows fans to engage with their favourite teams and clubs through digital assets known as Fan Tokens.

ROLE SUMMARY

As the Social Media Manager, you will serve as the brand guardian and spokesperson across our social media platforms, focusing on both Italian and global accounts. Your role involves creating, curating, and managing high-quality content to engage our community and effectively represent our brand. You will collaborate with internal teams to execute and enhance our marketing strategies, respond to real-time events, and grow our online presence through innovative and engaging content.

Responsibilities

  • Be a brand guardian: Every post, comment, reply or engagement you publish, you are representing and bringing to life the brand
  • In addition to responsibility for the Italian language accounts, you will also support the Head of Social Media in executing & growing the marketing strategy for the Global accounts;
  • Work closely with key internal teams, including but not limited to Marketing, Communications, Campaign Management, Acquisition, CRM, Web, and Product;
  • Create, write, and curate high-quality original content designed to engage followers and position the brand appropriately;
  • Take pride in building an engaging community, creating personal connections, and communicating the brand through relatable content;
  • Strike a balance between promotional content and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual users;
  • Be there, even in unconventional hours, to react to events as they unfold and capitalize on relevant moments;
  • Always on the lookout for creative and content inspirations;
  • Grow an online community through engaging and exciting content and track trends and growth;
  • Build a relationship with our partner clubs, whilst being able to advise them on the content pieces you think would work best;
  • Research and coordinate the creative elements for your content including images, graphics, videos, and other artwork;
  • Passionate about performance, making sure that you deliver content that is not only engaging but that ultimately converts and/or retains users on the Socios.com app;
  • Be a hawkeye - make sure you have an eye for detail and that you proofread before and after posting material;
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as designers, marketing execs, videographers and creatives to improve your team’s content strategy;
  • Have the right knowledge around tracking, search and attribution;
  • Adhere to legal, copyright and privacy standards and company policies;
  • Determine and track important KPIs as per the team lead’s direction, and assist with reporting results across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts, ideally with a focus on creativity, trends, brand representation and community engagement.
  • Fluency in Italian for managing Italian-language accounts, along with excellent English skills for global account support.
  • Ability to create, write, and curate high-quality original content tailored to various platforms and audiences.
  • Experience in building and nurturing online communities, fostering personal connections, and driving engagement through relatable content.
  • Experience in supporting and executing social media and marketing strategies, ideally for both local and global audiences.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and adapt content strategies accordingly.
  • A focus on delivering content that not only drives engagement but also delivers value to the audience and moves them down the funnel
  • Experience working with and writing briefs for multidisciplinary teams, including designers, marketers, and creatives, to enhance content strategy.
  • Willingness to engage and react to events in real-time, even outside conventional hours, to capitalize on relevant moments.
  • Proficiency in researching and coordinating creative elements such as images, graphics, videos, and other artwork.
  • A keen eye for detail with strong proofreading skills before and after posting material.
  • Understanding of legal, copyright, and privacy standards, and adherence to company policies.
  • Ability to determine, track, and report on important KPIs as directed by the team lead.
  • Familiarity with various multimedia content formats and tools to enhance social media engagement.
