ESPERA is an internationally active medium-sized family business with worldwide sales via distributors and its own companies. We develop, produce and sell fully automated systems for labeling products using pre-printed labels printed using direct thermal or thermal transfer technology. We are one of the global market leaders in the segment of price/weight labeling of pre-packaged food products.

For the software area within our development department, we are now looking for a

Software developer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

You will develop software to control complex mechanical systems based on the programming languages C / C++. You will work independently and contribute to an interdisciplinary team in all areas, from requirements analysis to architecture, design, programming, testing and documentation.

What you bring to the table:

• (University degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of the programming languages C / C++ and the creation of unit tests
• High willingness to learn and interest in working with different platforms and technologies
• Experience in working with Linux
• Knowledge of Qt and embedded software an advantage
• Reliability, ability to work in a team, flexibility and a high level of commitment
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Experience in the creation of software documentation
• Experience in the creation of verification and validation plans
