Embedded security expert

The tasks:

• Further development and maintenance of the in-house Linux distribution based on Yocto
• Adapting the generic Yocto image to new products (creating and adapting Yocto recipes, porting devicetrees and bootloaders, possibly kernel driver development)
• Support in the development of Linux applications
• Performing security analyses and identifying vulnerabilities in existing systems
• Working with the development team to integrate security-related requirements into the development process
• Creation of documentation and IT security guidelines for development projects

The requirements:

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
• Experience in the development of embedded systems and extensive knowledge of Linux platforms
• Expertise in the implementation of security standards
• Experience in identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities of Linux-based systems
• Programming skills in C/C++ and knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
• Team-oriented way of working and communication skills
• Ideally experience in the field of embedded system security
