Job Description

The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and applications. This role ensures high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new backend features on a highly scalable and self-healing platform.
Assist in the implementation of a state-of-the-art microservices architecture.
Research new technologies and participate in architectural decisions.
Work in a test-driven development (TDD) environment.
Write code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mind.
Perform functional requirements analysis.
Write high-quality code and documentation.
Collaborate closely with other developers, QA, and product team members.
Apply analytical skills and maintain a strong commitment to quality.
Help track requests, issues, work progress, and other changes using project management tools.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Manage code changes and conduct code reviews.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a backend software engineer, with expertise in Python or Go.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies in cloud-based environments.
Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
Proven track record of working with high-volume transactional systems.
Strong commitment to software quality and software engineering best practices.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good command of both verbal and written English.
A degree in Information Technology or a related field is considered an advantage
