Job Summary
• This role is responsible for bridging the gap in understanding the technical aspects of solutions by effectively communicating with customers. The role focuses on the technical nuances of products, customizing and integrating them to align with customer needs. The role prepares technical documentation, conveys benefits to customers, and stays updated to address concerns to ensure seamless customer interactions and drive successful product adoption.
Responsibilities
• Develops an understanding of the technical aspects of products or solutions being offered, including architecture, integration capabilities, and customization options.
• Configures, customizes and integrates the products to align with the customer's requirements.
• Delivers compelling and technically sound product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, highlighting relevant use cases for the customers.
• Addresses any technical objections or concerns raised by customers and provides clear explanations or solutions to overcome the objections.
• Provides technical training sessions to the sales team, empowering them to better communicate the value proposition to potential customers.
• Analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of competing products or solutions and provides insights to the sales team to position the organization’s products effectively.
• Communicates insights related to the technical products to showcase the suitability of solutions to the client’s business needs in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Contributes to the creation of technical documentation, such as case studies, and technical specifications, to help customers understand the technical aspects and benefits of the product.
• Participates in training sessions to continuously improve expertise to effectively address customer inquiries and challenges.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 6 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
