Solutions Specialist - Continuous Improvement

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Solutions/ Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Operations Excellence team. Working under the direction of the Solutions Lead, on the Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement of services in line with Unilabs Vision for the future network;

Key Responsibilities

• Lead individual projects to identify and deliver change and improvement in services

• Analyse and report on complex data

• Create future state process maps and workflows for all services and laboratories.

• Create resource and capacity modelling for the future state.

• Detailing laboratory space assessments, block diagrams and floor plans.

• Liaising with operational management to ensure that the details are correct and in line with the future vision.

• Recording project design assumptions, ensuring all amendments adhere to a change control process and assessing and recording the impact of any change.

• Highlighting operational risks and recording mitigation strategy.

• To challenge the status quo and contribute to the growth and development of Unilabs.

• Write and present reports to stakeholders

• Investigating issues with operational service performance, carryout route cause analysis.

• Conduct comprehensive service reviews to identify opportunities for improvement across people, processes, and technology.

• Support the implementation of a continuous improvement culture across the organisation.

• Proven experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical technology industries.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in process mapping, data analysis
• Desirable experience in simulation modelling.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesizing and developing recommendations
• Competent in leading and managing change effectively, together with an understanding of the dynamics which operate within organisations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive operational improvements.
• Familiarity with tools modelling software is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management, Operations Research).
• Lean six sigma qualification or equivalent experience desirable
• English is essential and French language is desirable
