Speaking Examiners & Invigilators for Exam Season 2027 - Las Palmas

Introduction: ECM Servicios Educativos, a Cambridge Platinum Exam Centre is looking to fill several positions for the upcoming Cambridge exam campaign (April–June 2027) across Spain.

SPEAKING EXAMINERS
We invite experienced English teachers to train and certify as Cambridge Speaking Examiners with our Exam Centre. We offer free training, certification, and exam opportunities across the full Cambridge exam range.
Eligibility Requirements:
University degree (or equivalent)
Applicants holding a 4-year degree in Education: A minimum of substantial, relevant, English teaching experience within the last 2 to 3 years, ideally equivalent to at least 1,800 hours.
Applicants holding any other degree: A minimum of 3,000 hours of substantial, relevant, English teaching experience within the last 2 to 3 years regardless of the field of study.
Recognized teaching qualification (e.g.: CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL, TKT)
Native English speaker or minimum CEFR level C1 Advanced.
Availability midweek mornings/early afternoons and/or Saturday mornings/early afternoons
Willingness to travel on the Island, as well as occassionally travel to Tenerife.

Desirable (not essential):
Permanent residence in Spain.
Experience preparing learners for Cambridge English exams.

Induction, Training & Certification:
Face-to-face training starts January 2027 in locations outside of Madrid. (*To be determined depending on applicants’ location).
Face-to-face annual Certification and guidance from experienced Team Leaders (will likely be held in the same location as Training, however, on a different date).
Live examining placements during the spring exam period.

Requisitos y condiciones:
Persona puntual, responsable y con buen trato con niños y adolescentes.
Nivel de inglés recomendado B2 (no obligatorio).
Ser mayor de edad.
No percibir prestaciones (desempleo, subsidio, etc.).
Se valorará disponibilidad entre semana, carné de conducir y posibilidad de viajar.
Formación y certificación:
Formación presencial obligatoria: febrero (Madrid) / marzo (resto de provincias)
Pequeño curso online obligatorio para completar la certificación anual obligatoria
Fechas de realización de exámenes:
Madrid: abril, mayo y junio (lunes–viernes, mañana o tarde; sábados por la mañana)
Resto de provincias: mayo y junio (lunes–viernes, mañana o tarde; sábados por la mañana)
