Strategy Associate to Business Development & Innovation Area

Neuraxpharm is looking for a Strategy Associate to BD & Innovation Area based in Barcelona, Spain

Your mission:

You will be responsible for providing coordination and strategic/operative support to the BD & INNOVATION teams (BD&L and Alliance Management, IP, Search & Evaluation and B2B), to ensure the success of bringing innovative products to the new mid-long-term pipeline of Neuraxpharm.

You will also work proactively to improve communication with the rest of the expert functions within Neuraxpharm in pipeline projects lead by the BD area.

Your major accountabilities:

• Providing strategic and operational support to the Chief BD & Innovation Officer, including coordination of projects, monitoring progress and preparing presentations, data analysis and business insights.


• Acting as a key coordination point with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and follow-up of BD & Innovation initiatives.


• Supporting core business development activities, including participation in due diligence processes and collaboration with BD&L, B2B, Search & Evaluation and IP teams.


• Contributing to planning and financial processes, including budget preparation and tracking, as well as the Mid‑Range Plan (MRP) for Licensing CAPEX.


• Ensuring effective organization and execution of key projects within the area.


• Coordinate and manage the meeting agendas for BD events (CPHI, Bio Europe, etc.)

We would like you to have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.


• Combination of scientific and financial understanding.


• Strong analytical and data handling capabilities.


• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of MS Project is a plus.


• Experience with industry databases such as IQVIA or GlobalData.


• Proactive, dynamic and hands-on mindset.


• Strong motivation to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent organizational and project management skills.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
