Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and execution-focused Talent Management Project Specialist to support the Director – Talent Management in delivering several strategic people initiatives over a six-month period.

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building processes, coordinating complex projects, and working across multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide project management, operational support, data analysis, and coordination across key talent management initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves while engaging confidently with HR teams, business leaders, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Management Project Delivery

  • Support the planning, execution, and tracking of strategic Talent Management initiatives. 
  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and action trackers across multiple workstreams. 
  • Prepare project updates, dashboards, and executive reports for leadership meetings. 
  • Monitor project progress and proactively follow up on deliverables with stakeholders. 

Performance Management

  • Support the administration and execution of the performance management cycle. 
  • Coordinate timelines, communications, calibration sessions, and governance activities. 
  • Prepare performance analytics and reporting for HR leadership. 
  • Assist in documenting process improvements and standard operating procedures. 

Talent Review & Succession Planning

  • Coordinate talent review meetings and support preparation of talent profiles, succession materials, and leadership presentations. 
  • Consolidate talent data and produce reports to support leadership discussions. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of talent information. 

Workforce Planning

  • Support workforce planning activities through data collection, reporting, and analysis. 
  • Assist in compiling organizational data to support headcount planning and workforce insights. 
  • Prepare presentations and reports for business reviews. 

HR Technology Support

  • Support talent management activities within Workday. 
  • Coordinate data validation, testing, reporting, and user acceptance activities where required. 
  • Liaise with HRIS teams on system enhancements and issue resolution. 

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, HRIS, and business stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, project documentation, and follow-up actions. 
  • Support change management and communication activities for Talent Management projects. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline. 
  • 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in Talent Management, Organizational Development, HR Projects, or HR Operations. 
  • Experience supporting enterprise HR initiatives or transformation projects. 
  • Exposure to: 
    • Performance Management 
    • Talent Review 
    • Succession Planning 
    • Workforce Planning 
    • HR Analytics 
  • Experience using Workday is highly desirable. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. 
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Collaborative team player with a strong customer-service mindset. 

Success Measures

By the end of the six-month contract, the successful candidate will have:

  • Supported the timely delivery of key Talent Management initiatives. 
  • Contributed to a smooth and well-governed performance management cycle. 
  • Enabled effective talent review and succession planning discussions through high-quality coordination and reporting. 
  • Produced accurate workforce planning and talent analytics to support decision-making. 
  • Maintained project governance through robust tracking, reporting, and stakeholder follow-up. 
  • Established clear documentation, templates, and project management practices that can be sustained beyond the contract period.
