Position Summary
The Team Lead Technical Presales BESS is responsible for leading the European BESS Technical Presales team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support throughout the sales process.
The role combines people leadership with technical expertise, translating the technical strategy defined by the Head of Technical Europe into consistent day-to-day execution. The Team Lead oversees technical proposal development, solution design, bid support, customer engagement, and product management related technical activities and product marketing activities, while driving operational excellence, team development, and cross-functional collaboration across regional Sales, , Service & Delivery team, and Headquarters other functional departments.

Major Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional Technical Presales team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Setobjectives,monitorperformance, provide regular feedback, and support employee development
- Allocate resources and technical support across regions according to business priorities
- Support recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and capability development within the team
- Ensure high-quality technical support throughout the sales cycle for utility-scale and C&I BESS opportunities
- Oversee technical solution design, system sizing, bid preparation, technical documentation, and customer presentations
- Guide technical evaluations of customer requirements, grid codes, and project feasibility
- Support complex customer discussions, technical negotiations, and strategic bidding activities
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for Sales teams and customers
- Ensure consistency, quality, and continuous improvement of technical proposals and presales processes
- Coordinate product certification activities for European markets together with HQ and certification bodies (if needed).
- Consolidatecustomer feedback, market requirements, and technology trends and communicate them to Product Management and Headquarters
- Support product localization, technical compatibility assessments, and new product introductions
- Maintain technical documentation, design standards, and solution templates across the region
- Represent the company during technical workshops, conferences, webinars, and customer events
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Service, HQ and other related departments
- Ensure effective communication between European technical teams and HQ teams.
