Team Member - Online Estate Sale Auctions

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team at CT of Albany & Leesburg, specializing in online estate sale auctions. As a team member, you will play a key role in supporting the auction process, ensuring efficient operations, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Assist with cataloging estate items, including photographing and writing clear, accurate descriptions for auction listings.
• Research and appraise items to determine market value, leveraging online tools and resources.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of auction items on the company platform.
• Communicate professionally with clients, answering inquiries and resolving concerns related to auctions, sales, and logistics.
• Process payments and coordinate shipping or item pickup logistics for buyers.
• Collaborate with the team to market estate sales through social media, email campaigns, and other advertising channels.
• Maintain an organized workflow and prioritize tasks to meet auction deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software platforms related to online auctions.
• Basic knowledge of antiques, collectibles, and appraisals is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in retail, sales, e-commerce, or auction settings is a plus.

NOTE:  This position is currently part-time, but could potentially become full-time as we are growing quickly!  Hours and days could vary but all work is typically done during regular DAYTIME hours.  The ideal candidate is someone that wants to learn and grow within our organization.
