Technical Consultant

Alpega Group is seeking our next Technical Consultant! who will be involved in collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to provide technical consulting and support throughout project lifecycles and implementing solutions. The position can be based in Barcelona, Spain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver technical consulting and support throughout project lifecycles.


• Participate directly in customer projects to implement solutions, provide expertise, and ensure successful delivery.


• Investigate and troubleshoot system behaviors across applications and programming languages.


• Assist customers in understanding and implementing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, including data conversion and integration workflows.


• Provide expert advice on integrating systems using APIs, EDI, and other connectivity solutions.


• Work with SQL for tasks such as report generation, data analysis, and troubleshooting.


• Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s applications to address technical challenges and support customer needs.


• Mentor and support other consultants in resolving complex technical issues, promoting knowledge sharing within the team

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

• Strong SQL knowledge for data querying and reporting.


• Solid understanding of APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and system integration processes.


• Experience with EDI processes and tools for data conversion and integration workflows.


• Proficiency in Java, other programming languages are a plus.


• Knowledge of logistics workflows and systems is a strong advantage.


• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders.


• Ability to learn and apply detailed knowledge of the company’s applications.


• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with an agile mindset


• Strong people skills with experience engaging customers
