PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to manage all matters related to transfer price operations with a clear focus on safeguarding business continuity and compliance. The position is both interface and extended workbench for the GPO organization concerning the design, maintenance and adherence to global process standards. It is characterized by maintaining highest quality standards of the work output while being open to continuous learning & the adaptation of new technologies and innovative thinking.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

• Managing of all operational aspects related to the Transfer Pricing Life Cycle:
  • Workflow initiation, processing & monitoring activities for the alignment of new transfer prices in close alignment with the local Legal Entity Finance Mgr.
  • Maintenance of Transfer Prices in the local ERP systems.
  • Creation & maintenance of contract attachments (e.g. annual price lists).
  • Authorization Mgmt. for Transfer Pricing related applications.
     
• Profitability Monitoring & Quality Assurance Assessments:
  • Regular monitoring of profitability developments with focus on the identification of inconsistencies, missing allocations & significant changes/ impacts in the country P&L cost structures.
  • Analysis of findings, initiation of follow-up activities as well as conduction of data cleansing & housekeeping activities to safeguard a high-quality outcome of the KNIME Segmentation Process.
  • Conduction of internal controls to related processes.
  • Year-end margin adjustments calculation.
     
• Further Reporting & Supporting Activities:
  • Act as a first point of contact for country requests as well as for analytical requests to support the Global Process Owner in the GPG Tax and/ or Functional Lead organization.
  • Data collection, verification and provision of customized reports.
  • Creation of process material in platforms such sharepoint and ask.
     
• Project Work:
  • Support the implementation of improvement measures.
  • Pro-active ideation related to potential process enhancements.

WHO YOU ARE 

• Degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics with focus on Accounting/ Controlling and/ or Taxes and/ or initial experience in those fields.
• Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 Applications with focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms and Power Automate.
• First experience in the Bayer System Landscape with focus on DataOne/ SAP is considered as an asset.
• Good SAP FI/CO/BW/AO skills.
• Knowledge about intercompany value flows and transfer pricing basics is considered as an asset.
• High standards of accuracy & quality for work results.
• Good analytical, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English. German, French or Spanish are considered as an asset.
• Capability of target orientated working with diversified nationalities.
• Flexible and able to manage complexity.
