Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Independent Financial Advisor to join their established advisory team based in La Cala de Mijas, Costa del Sol. About the Opportunity

This role is ideal for experienced advisors who are confident in managing client relationships, delivering tailored financial strategies, and developing new business opportunities.

You will work from the La Cala de Mijas office, supported by a collaborative and professional environment, while building and managing your own portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial advice aligned with each client’s financial goals and objectives
• Conduct in-depth financial assessments and develop tailored financial plans
• Advise on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimisation
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices

• Proven experience as an Independent Financial Advisor or in a client-facing financial services sales role
• Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, and regulatory frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as CII levelk 4,  CFP, CFA, or equivalent are advantageous

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages such as Spanish, German, or French are beneficial

Additional Information

Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years’ client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory, along with recognised investment qualifications (e.g. CISI, CII, or equivalent).

This is a performance-driven, client-facing role focused on relationship development, delivering tailored financial advice, and achieving long-term growth.
