Skydance Animation Madrid is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Production Accountant trainee to join our studio!
Our Internship Program offers its own unique learning opportunities. You will have the chance to network and meet with Skydance leaders, learn transferable skills, and gain real-world experience. It is an experience ideal for those moving from the classroom to the industry.
This is a paid internship that will be held on-site.

Responsibilities
- Track production costs and expenditures, ensuring they are allocated correctly per project.
- Collaborate with production, finance, human resources, and artist management teams to gather necessary financial data and documentation.
- Assist in journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including accounting reconciliations, ensuring all tasks are completed following the closing procedures and submission deadlines.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts per production.
- Perform the monthly analytical report per project and staff.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel.
- Familiarity with Business Central ERP would be a plus
- Must be available for at least 3 months onsite (from Monday until Friday, 35h/week).
- Must be currently enrolled in your last year in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master’s program at an accredited institution.
- Self-starter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Highly motivated and interested in Animation and Technology.
- Good team player!
- High English level.
- Spanish is desirable.
