Join our team in Barcelona as Community & Events Intern!

Ready to make a real impact in Barcelona’s tech scene? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Community & Events Intern to join our team and help us grow our unique brand and student community. This is a part-time internship position located on our Barcelona campus.

Working closely with the City Manager, and with the support of the Regional Marketing team, you will play a key role in activating the local Le Wagon community – including students, alumni, leads, and partners – while creating a welcoming learning atmosphere on-campus. You will support daily local operations, plan and execute impactful events, and help build meaningful connections within our community. This is an early-career role, ideal for candidates with less than 2 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Market our brand:

• Assist in planning and executing our monthly event strategy, including tech workshops, panels, talks, and more.
• Coordinate with sales teams for effective event follow-up and conversion.
• Stay updated on the local tech event landscape and identify relevant opportunities for Le Wagon's involvement.
• Assist in identifying potential collaboration opportunities with local tech communities and relevant organizations.

Strengthen our community:

• Improve the student experience by organizing and executing on-campus community events for current students, including afterworks and alumni panels.
• Support daily on-campus operations, from campus setup to student care and motivation.
• Connect with alumni to strengthen the Le Wagon Barcelona community through events and meaningful communication.

Support our marketing operations:

• Support the Southern Europe Marketing team by creating local content that resonates with our target audience.
• Translate and adapt communication materials from the global Marketing team.

About you

• Based in Barcelona, with a genuine passion for the city's tech scene.
• Available for a part-time, on-campus internship.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
• 0-2 years of experience in event marketing, community management, or a related field. Prior experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential!
• Outgoing and empathetic – you enjoy building relationships and engaging with diverse communities.
• Able to juggle day-to-day tasks with special projects and initiatives.
• You’re excited to grow your skills, learn in a fast-paced environment, and continuously improve.
