Data Analytics Trainee - Minor Hotels Eu&Am - Madrid

What will be your mission?

This internship position within the Business Intelligence department focuses on supporting data analysis, reporting, and KPI monitoring to enable data-driven decision making. The role involves working with large datasets using SQL, Python or R, and contributing to the optimization and automation of dashboards and reports. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Operational Excellence team to ensure data integrity, availability, and scalability. Exposure to advanced analytics, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is part of the role.

What will you do?

Belonging to Business Intelligence department in the Operational Excellence Team, candidates will:

  • Data analysis support, data extraction and updates of needed reports
  
  
  • Optimize and develop improvements regarding current analysis & reports
  
  
  • Update recurrent dashboards, planning their updates in advance with the team
  
  
  • Sustain in ensuring the integrity and availability of data and ensure that they can support the company´s growth with our current
  
  
  • Contribute to creating a culture data-driven decision making
  
  
  • Collection, monitoring and analysis of KPI´s by business area

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Mathematics or similar.


• Having a master’s in data analytics, statistics or big data is a plus
