Legal Intern

In this internship, you will play a supportive role in assisting our legal team and contributing to Netenders’ success. Under the guidance of our experienced professionals, you’ll gain hands-on legal experience in a multicultural and fast-evolving company.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Document preparation: assist in drafting, reviewing, adapting, and translating legal documents such as contracts, terms and conditions, policies, disclaimers, reports, and marketing content.
  


• Contract management: support the assessment of contracts to ensure alignment with Netender’s guidelines and suggest relevant amendments.


• Corporate support: assist in the creation, modification, and dissolution of companies and subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining accurate and detailed records.


• Compliance support: assist with legal audits and compliance reviews, including digital compliance and data protection.


• Dispute management: provide support in monitoring ongoing disputes across jurisdictions, assist with case negotiations involving suppliers, customers or partners, and ensure strict compliance with deadlines.


• Legal research: conduct thorough legal research to support internal decision-making.
  


• General support: address day-to-day legal matters, including intellectual property (trademarks and web domains registration), unfair competition, and customer service issues. Collaborate with external advisors and communicate effectively with providers when required.


• Document management: file and maintain organized physical and digital records of relevant legal and corporate documents.

To be successful in this internship, you should:

• This is an internship contract. You must be eligible for an internship (either still enrolled in your studies or able to obtain an internship agreement). Candidates must be part of an Erasmus+ program or currently enrolled at a Spanish university.
  


• Be currently enrolled in a degree program in Legal Studies or a related field, either through an Erasmus+ program or a Spanish academic institution.


• Available for a commitment of 4-6 months.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish are a must. Fluency in French is a plus.


• Be genuinely interested in legal matters related to e-commerce, intellectual property, and data protection.
  


• Previous experience in a law firm or a Legal department of a company is a plus.


• Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  


• Be discreet and professional when dealing with confidential information.


• Show a proactive, results-driven and collaborative mindset.
