Master Data Intern (Temporary)

The GBS Master Data Intern will assist the Master Data team in monitoring and maintaining master and key data within Duracell, helping to ensure master data integrity in key systems and supporting data quality processes.

This position will be part of the Global Business Services located in the Barcelona area. The individual may also be required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested. This role will report to the Master Data Senior Analyst/Master Data Manager.

• Supporting the maintenance of MDM data objects (Customer, Vendor, Pricing, Material general and accounting data).
• Assisting the team in troubleshooting and resolving MDM issues.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather the information required for business master data needs.
• Following established data standards, guidelines and processes.
• Preparing Master Data load files and/or manually inputting changes directly into SAP under supervision.
• Helping maintain business ready data in SAP, Ariba and SNOW in line with service level agreements.
• Supporting the testing of MDM change requests and Master Data projects.
• Monitoring recurring exception reports and supporting data clean-up opportunities.

• Studies in business administration, product supply, finance, or other related field.
• No prior experience required; a first exposure to master data or an ERP environment (SAP) is a plus.
• Interest in data quality and how master data applies to business.
• Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. English speaking mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work with international teams.
