Your contribution to the team At Frekuent, we're not just building payment solutions — we're creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As an Operations Intern, you will work directly with the operations team to support project management, documentation, and quality assurance activities across sectors such as vending, gas stations, laundromats, EV charging stations, and more.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the planning, tracking, and follow-up of cross-departmental operational projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Create and maintain structured documentation of processes, procedures, and internal policies (SOPs, playbooks, knowledge base).
  • Support internal and external audits: preparing evidence, organizing documentation, and following up on corrective actions.
  • Design and monitor quality control checklists and standards across operational processes (example: installations, technical support, warehouse).
  • Identify process gaps or inconsistencies and propose improvements or standardization.
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable documentation.
  • Help build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking project status, quality metrics, and audit outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and compliance.

  • Project management methodologies and tools applied to a fast-scaling operation.
  • How to structure and maintain professional-grade technical and process documentation.
  • Fundamentals of quality management and audit preparation in a regulated, high-growth environment.
  • Interdepartmental collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Best practices in process standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Use of reporting and collaboration tools (Confluence, Zoho Analytics, Make, etc.).

Who we're looking for

  • Currently enrolled or recently finished a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented mindset with a strong interest in process quality and structure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you know how to make complex information clear.
  • Solid command of Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, Notion) or quality frameworks is a plus.
  • Spanish; professional level in English.
  • Availability: Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.
  • Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you're not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
  • Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.
  • Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.
  • Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.
