Your contribution to the team
At Frekuent, we're not just building payment solutions — we're creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As an Operations Intern specialising in KYC, your main focus will be ensuring that new merchants successfully complete their onboarding and activation journey. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to manage documentation, coordinate validation and approval processes, and ensure every merchant goes live without friction.
What you'll be doing
Support the onboarding of new merchants, helping them successfully join and activate on the Frekuent platform.
Participate in KYC (Know Your Customer) and merchant verification processes, reviewing and managing the required documentation.
Assist with contract preparation and collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Monitor key processes and support merchants throughout their activation journey.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes that directly impact customer experience and operational efficiency.
Who we’re looking for
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid command of Excel/Google Sheets.
Languages: advanced Spanish and English.
Availability: Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.
Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you’re not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.
Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.
Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.
