We are excited about reaching our full potential as we come together in the new Sinch structure! As a result of this change, we are happy to open the role of Head of Sustainability. This is a leadership role, reporting to our Group CFO and driving Sinch towards setting and executing sustainable business strategies.

The role is based at our HQ in Stockholm. It is a hybrid role.

About the role

As Head of Sustainability you will have the overall responsibility for leading our strategic sustainability initiatives, and the continued development and implementation of our strategy that promotes environmental stewardship, social responsibility and governance at the forefront of the cloud communications industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Sustainability strategy: Develop and implement the global sustainability strategy, including setting targets, monitoring of KPIs and action plans, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization to implement sustainability best practices and reaching set targets. The role will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Global Leadership Team to integrate sustainability into decision-making and day-to-day operations.
• Stakeholder management: Manage stakeholder engagement and oversee our sustainability statements and reporting to ensure accountability and transparency in our sustainability performance in alignment with emerging stakeholder expectations, e.g., regulatory requirements (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CS3D), investors and creditors, and contractual obligations with customers and suppliers etc.
• Subject-matter expertise: Building and collecting sustainability expertise and advising the organization on integrating sustainable business practices in close collaboration with functional teams and external stakeholders to continue to build our sustainability commitments.
• Training and awareness: Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing among team members to foster a culture of sustainability throughout the organization. This includes engaging and educating the broader organization on sustainability through for example trainings, newsletters, presentations and videos.

About you

To be successful in the role you are a creative, strategic, and hands-on team player with a strong sense of ownership and the ambition to become a subject-matter expert in the sustainability field. You have experience in managing multiple priorities with a high attention to detail, and driving projects to successful completion. You have strong communication skills and can articulate complex technical concepts to a broader audience.

• Proven experience of working with sustainability in a complex global organization
• Proven experience from sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks, including EU directives
• Experience in leading sustainability or risk management projects with international teams across various domains
• Experience in developing and leading others in the implementation of strategies with high business impact
• Experience in working with data to understand the underlying drivers of specific metrics
• A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, sustainability or other applicable field
• Professional fluency in English, both written and verbally
