Job Description - Casting Manager

Job Description

As a Casting Manager at ARKET you are responsible for researching and casting models and other talents for all levels of content creations. In close collaboration with other key roles, such as Stylist, Art Director and Brand Director, you are responsible for developing casting directions for each season and concept.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a distinct and cohesive casting for the ARKET brand that supports ARKET’s vision on Diversity and Inclusion.
  • In close collaboration with other key roles, such as Stylist, Art Director and Brand & Communication Director, you are responsible for developing casting directions for each season and concept.
  • Handle casting both for ARKET’s Photo Studio (ecom) and for our campaigns. On occasions you will also source photographers, stylist and other creative players.
  • In collaboration with Studio Manager and Art Buyer plan inhouse e-com production.
  • Handle negotiations and administration including contracts, hotel bookings, travel bookings, taxi bookings, call sheets etc.
  • Handle budget and invoices for casting and keep track of costs.

To be successful in this role, we also believe you have specialized knowledge and a genuine interest in international and local casting (models and talents, contemporary fashion photographers, stylist etc.) and that you have an established wide network of contacts with agents and creatives within the fashion industry.

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience casting for designer brands, editorials and/or runway shows.
  • An interest and knowledge of contemporary photography, art and fashion.
  • A wide network of agents and creatives within the fashion industry.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience of contract work.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.

This is a  full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Stockholm, starting as soon as possible.
