We are seeking category manager for our client in Ludvika.

Develop, plan and implement Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Ensure execution in accordance with Company, SCM and Supply Base Management instructions and procedures. Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process, implements effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. Ensures all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly.

Develop, plan and implement Procurement & Logistics strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Ensure execution in accordance with Company, PL and Supply Base Management instructions and procedures. We are looking for an engaging and driven person to join the SCM Valve team in HVDC as a Category Manager. This is a role with many interfaces and interesting work tasks, and you will get great opportunities for learning and development. Our team culture is flexible, transparent, and cooperative.

Key experience and qualifications required

• You have an academic degree in a relevant field: Engineering, Business & Administration, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
• Work Experience in procurement/supply chain for at least 2-3 years.
• Genuinely interested in technical components and systems.
• For this role it requires that you are unpretentious for the job requires that you need to do everything from strategies work to material follow-up to working with your material in our ERP system.
• You are a team player with strong communicative and collaborative skills who likes to interact with other people.

Language

English. Swedish is valuable but not compulsory.

Working arrangements

Start ASAP, initially for 12 months.

Hybrid working after agreement with manager.
