About the role
The Administration and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing administrative and financial operations within Uddevalla, Sweden. This role involves managing administrative functions comprised of administrative, human resources, and financial controlling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Administration and Finance Manager plays a key role in supporting the organization's overall objectives by providing effective management of administrative and financial resources.



Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Prepare financial reports, monitor financial performance against budget and provide analysis and recommendations to Country Manager and HO functions as required.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
  • Collaborate with Country Manager and local team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Assist in managing and develop the daily administrative operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for employees.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards and communicate relevant updates to management.
  • Proactively engage in corporate risk management activities and support the commitment to occupational Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • Conduct activities in accordance with all applicable legislation, regulation and company policy, codes, and guidelines.


Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting, or similar.
  • Several years of work experience in an international environment with large industrial projects or industry.
  • Knowledge of local fiscal regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, M S Office, and financial management software.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English.
Personal attributes
Capable of analysing and understanding complex data and financial information with a high level of precision and correctness in financial reporting. Great communication and interpersonal skills. Tyre Recycling Uddevalla AB is part of a new joint venture initiative, promoted and owned by Antin Infrastructure Partners, a leading infrastructure investment fund, Scandinavian Enviro System, a Swedish technology company that has developed a unique and patented technology for the extraction of carbon black and pyrolysis oil from end-of-life tyres, and Michelin, a leading worldwide manufacturer of tyres. The aim of the joint venture is to create the world's first large-scale tyre recycling group, entirely powered by Enviro proprietary technology and whose first plant is the one being built in Uddevalla.


The vision is to create a cleaner and greener world by reducing the environmental impact of tire waste, while offering a profitable and sustainable solution for tire recycling that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance. Scandinavian Enviro Systems, co-investor and technology partner of the initiative, operate since ten years a state-of-the-art tire recycling test facility in Åsensbruk. The plant in Uddevalla will be a significant scale-up and create the basis for taking the technology globally.
