Job Description - Global Director Talent Management & Leadership Development

Now we aim to further strengthen the Group People & Culture team with a Global Director of Talent Management & Leadership Development. This is a great opportunity to take on an important role during a time of ambitious business transformation in a successful global value-based company.

The main purpose of the Group People function is to own and develop Securitas global People agenda, one key area of focus is driving strategic projects within Talent management and Leadership development. Most Group People projects are reported directly to the Group CEO and the Group Management team, and you will work in close collaboration with our four geographical divisions as well as our global functions: Technology, Global IT and Global Clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Build global Performance Management Standards to be implemented across divisions and functions.
  • Global process ownership for Talent Management and Succession planning
  • Support to Global People Leadership team and facilitation of annual talent review process for Securitas Group Management team
  • Further develop and embed our existing Succession Planning and leadership assessment practices. Ensuring a strong talent pipeline for key leadership roles in Securitas

Executive Leadership Development & Training

  • Global ownership of 360 feedback process & global platform
  • Work in close collaboration and support the Group Executive Development Program (EDP).

Learning & Development

  • Give guidance and strategic support to organization on training initiatives and global learning management systems (LMS) support and advice to Securitas Group
  • Developing reporting capabilities and analytics in line with business strategy

Other

  • Ongoing strategic support and advice to Securitas Group People leaders on global programs and initiatives run in the divisions/global functions of 360 feedback process & global platform
  • Lead the global talent community (Talent Directors from divisions and global functions)
  • Governance support Global People Leadership meetings and conferences.
  • Together with divisional People Leaders further support roll-out of the Securitas Management Toolbox & Leadership Framework across the global organization.
  • Take an active role in leveraging People data and People analytics to drive continuous improvements in people-related processes, programs and decision-making.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

We believe that you have the following criteria:

  • Experience from working in an international or global role
  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Project leader experience, ideally from strategy projects
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Expertise partnering with and influencing senior and executive leadership
  • You are an excellent fit with our down-to earth, hands-on and non-corporate Securitas culture Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters preferred

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

 We are looking for someone that is/have:

  • Extensive experience within Talent Management, Leadership Development, Learning Management or Strategic HR Business Partnering
  • Experience with various assessment tools for leadership development programs (i.e. 360-degree feedback, etc.) and managing third party providers (e.g. executive coaches, L&D vendors, D&I partners, executive search, etc.)
  • Ability to efficiently deliver end-to-end responsibilities from strategy development to special project management, consultations and hands-on daily execution.
  • Strong capability in understanding strategic business drivers and importance of ROI in building a business case.
  • Ability to demonstrate working across a global matrix, and leading complex projects.
  • Experience consulting, facilitating, and presenting to groups and leaders at all organizational levels including executive level.
  • Positive and collaborative mindset, analytical, creative, and critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Previous experience from leading the strategic people agenda for a global company
  • Business and commercial acumen coupled with results orientation.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills to create partnerships to implement change; consistently displays a readiness and willingness to share knowledge; is open to different perspectives and to building consensus.
  • Believes in and champions the Securitas values and actively works to develop a culture of inclusion & diversity. 

ROLE, TEAM & LOCATION

In this role you are a member of the Group People & Culture team.

You will be reporting to the Vice President of Group People & Culture, who is based in Stockholm. 

As this is a hybrid global role you can be based in any of our key locations across the Securitas divisions however in-office working is also expected. A certain amount of international travel is expected from time to time. Initially this role will not have any direct reports.
