Job Description - hr partner

teenage engineering develop highly acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. we are now looking for an hr partner to join our team in stockholm, on a temporary basis to cover for a maternity leave on initially 12 months.

as the hr partner at teenage engineering, you will be acting as the first-hand contact for all hr-related matters. you will work independently with the whole range of hr, as well as all parts of the employee life-cycle. 

some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • coach and support employees and managers on hr-related matters.
  • partner up with managers to develop and implement hr strategies within their respective departments.
  • ensure that we run our business in accordance with our collective agreement (tekniktjänsteavtalet unionen/sveriges ingenjörer), as well as the swedish labor laws.
  • manage and maintain teenage engineering's pre, on- and offboarding processes, as well as the yearly hr activities such as performance and salary reviews, salary mapping and safety & security rounds, to name a few. 
  • handle rehabilitation cases, in collaboration with employees, managers and external health partners.
  • be the superuser of our hr system hailey and continuously manage updates and ensure that staff data, accesses, settings etc are up to date and handled in a safe manner.
  • be the point of contact to our external payroll partners and be responsible for the administrative tasks related to payroll, on a monthly basis. 
  • be the superuser of our recruitment tool teamtailor and support managers in recruitment efforts, such as screening applications, interviewing candidates and providing input on hiring decisions. 
  • take ownership of teenage engineering's career site and initiate, plan and execute employer branding activities, in order to attract and find the right competencies to the teenage engineering team. 

in the role as hr partner at teenage engineering, we believe that you:

  • are a self-starter and self-organizer, who is used to working independently, taking initiatives and pushing your own agenda. 
  • have a proven track record of advising, challenging, coaching and supporting managers on hr-related issues and processes through the full employee life cycle.
  • are an analytical and structured person, working proactively as well as reactively.
  • easily gain trust and have the ability to collaborate, communicate and influence.
  • have experience working in a fast-paced work environment, where you need to be able to shift focus and re-prioritize as you go.
  • are a great listener with a high level of integrity, as you will be handling and balancing a lot of sensitive information. 
  • have knowledge and experience from working with swedish labour law, and maybe also with collective agreements.
  • have a bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent.
  • are fluent in swedish and english, both verbally and in writing. 

the position is initially a 12 month fixed-term employment, full-time with start as soon as possible. the position will be located at our hq in stockholm and you will report to the head of finance.

we have a collective agreement “tekniktjänsteavtalet unionen/sveriges ingenjörer” and offer benefits such as an annual wellness contribution and flexible work hours.
