We are now sourcing a Technical Product Owner and Business Analyst in the RPA and Automation field Start/END = ASAP - 31-dec-2024
Target rate = 900sek/hour
Office policy = Working 1-2days/week onsite at the office (central) and the rest of the time it's OK to work remote.

Company/Team overview:
We are a team of 13 people at theIT department specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and automation solutions (enhanced with API:s and code) as well as application development in low code tools (PowerApps). Through our innovative products and services we help the internal business to streamline their operations, increase efficiency, and drive digital transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Product Owner and Business Analyst, who will play a crucial role in driving the success of our RPA and automation projects. Role overview:
As a Technical Product Owner and Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders. You will act as a liaison, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the successful delivery of RPA and automation projects. This role requires a deep understanding of RPA technologies, business processes, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. In the Product Owner role you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the team's backlog with input from team and business stakeholders across the departments, driving our delivery across all internal departments/services. The role includes both long term and short term strategic planning. You have the responsibility to balance business needs with our internal requirements such as knowledge sharing, infrastructure work and upskilling to assure that there is a healthy balance between new functionality, maintenance and life cycle. You also have the responsibility to escalate unmitigated risks to Team Lead/Delivery Manager and update on delivery successes and challenges. Expectation management towards stakeholders communicating forecasts related to backlog is an important part of this role, also deciding when there is enough business value to release to production in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. We see that you have experience from leading a team, strategic decision making and have a professional attitude and approach. Experience from working and navigating in a big corporate company is preferable. In the Business Analyst role you will work to screen and capture possible automation opportunities within the departments by facilitating and leading workshops, screen potential processes (sometimes together with the developer) and perform process assessments to evaluate the business value and suitability of automation. You will coordinate different automation projects from design to go live ensuring project requirements are well defined and easily understood by all stakeholders. As BA you will be responsible for producing process definition descriptions (PDD:s) and create relevant test scenarios and test cases for processes. The role also heavily involves change management, analyzing changes and improvements of existing automations. You will work on different automation initiatives/ projects in parallel in close co-operation with IT teams and business representatives. As the role relies heavily on documentation and continuous improvements we see that you are structured and thorough in your work and likes to find solutions to problems. Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for RPA and automation projects.
● Translate business requirements into technical specifications, creating process definition documents, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
● Work closely with development teams to define user stories, prioritize backlog, and ensure timely delivery of features.
● Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate the potential of RPA and automation solutions.
● Identify and document business processes, workflows, and system dependencies to support solution design and implementation.
● Perform gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and automation opportunities.
● Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any project-related issues.
● Act as a subject matter expert on RPA and automation technologies, providing guidance and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● QA - define test scenarios and test cases and ensure the quality of delivered solutions
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in RPA and automation, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

 

  • Kravspecifikation:
    ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Data and system Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
    ● Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner and Business Analyst (+2 years), preferably in the RPA and automation domain.
    ● Experience of managing customer expectations, risk management, and resource allocation.
    ● Strong understanding of RPA and Automation technologies, such as UiPath (Currently used), Power Automate (will be used), Apps Scripts/ScriptLab
    ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
    ● Solid understanding of business processes and workflows, with the ability to identify areas for automation and process improvement.
    ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    ● Experience working in an Agile development environment, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
    ● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
    ● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
    ● Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
    ● You are a self-starter and are able to work both autonomously with little supervision as well as collaboratively within an agile team, always maintaining the focus on a positive customer experience without adding stress to the team.
    ● Experience from Power Platform - Power Automate, PowerBI and PowerApps is meritorious
