Job
As research engineer, you will be part of the Division of Lighting Design at the department of Architecture, and work closely with the architectural lighting design team. The position includes coordination and administration of projects, the lightning design lab environment and equipment related to architectural lighting design research and application. The tasks consists of helping with the planning and management of design research projects, of the lab facilities, as well as outreach activities within KTH and the wider community. In your role, you will specifically assist with the coordination and management of existing grant funded architectural and urban lighting design research projects and be responsible for maintaining and coordinating lab resources. You will also work on various development tasks within the lighting design division related to integrating lighting design and architectural research and education.

Qualifications
Requirements - A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
- Master’s degree related to lighting design or related fields.
- Previous knowledge in the subject area and profession of architectural lighting.
- Previous experience with light measurement, control software and hardware equipment.
Preferred qualifications - Experience in lighting design, lighting technology, electrical equipment and research related to the field.
- Experience with collaborations between academia and lighting-related manufacturing industry.
