Treasury Operations Specialist to Sandvik

Sandvik Treasury is looking for a new team member to the centralized Treasury at the headquarters in the city center of Stockholm. Group Treasury is globally responsible for the Sandvik Group’s external funding, all financial risks, bank relationships and cash management.

As part of the five-person Treasury Operations team, you get to interact with a large international network and contribute to the development of our function. Are you eager to sharpen your competence in a global finance setting?

About the role

As part of Treasury Operations, you will play an important role in three main areas:

• Core treasury operations such as matching and confirmation of financial deals, execution of financial payments, reconciliation, and monitoring of liquidity and cash flow forecasting. Accuracy and high quality are key factors to success.

• Cash pool management including bank account management, KYC processes, power of attorneys and administration of user access. You will be in close contact with the Cash Management team of Group Treasury as well as our core banks.

• Participation in a variety of continuously ongoing projects on an operational as well as strategic level. You will have the opportunity to run projects to improve automation and process efficiency on your own.

All three parts involve building strong relationships with both external and internal counterparties as well as with the core banks of the Sandvik Group. In your role, you will also take on the operational responsibility for one or two banks on your own.

Qualifications

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented team player with a degree in finance or similar. Preferably you have been working for a few years and want to continue to grow in a global organization.

You are a skilled user of Office 365, especially Excel, and have an interest in Treasury related systems. We consider it an advantage if you have experience of the treasury management system Quantum and the payment platform Trax. You are fluent in verbal and written Swedish and English and other languages are a big plus.
