Are you passionate about evaluating, structuring and executing acquisition financing for Private Equity clients

Leveraged Finance holds the global client responsibility for Private Equity Clients within Swedbank and is responsible for all parts of the debt origination process towards the segment, including marketing, evaluating, structuring, presenting and executing acquisition financing and related Investment Banking products. You will join a team of highly motivated and skilled colleagues located in Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

Become part of the Leveraged Finance team which holds the global client responsibility for structuring and arranging acquisition financing for Private Equity clients within Swedbank

Become an integral part of different project teams, always including a Leveraged Finance project leader as well as other internal and external specialists. You will be involved in analysing and negotiating present and prospective financing transactions across various sectors

Develop your financial risk analysis skills with an emphasis on market and corporate analysis, structuring and presenting the analysis in writing as well as orally to decision makers. You will also get a chance to analyse how different business models in various industries will deliver cash flow over time, all with support from extensive information provided by consultants/experts, as well as Excel-based models and experienced colleagues

Work in a team of highly devoted individuals who thrive in the intense transaction-based working environment, where team results are valued ahead of individual achievements

What is needed in this role:

A Bachelor’s or Master's degree, currently in the final semester or recently graduated (start as soon as possible, however at the latest August 2023)

Strong academic record specializing in finance, accounting and/or economics with high proficiency in Excel

Curiosity of capital markets and business

Analytical, social and cooperative skills

Previous experience within Investment Banking, Transaction Services advisory or similar is meriting

Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, with fluency in English and Swedish

The ability to cope with a high workload in projects with tight deadlines
