Job Description

We are looking for  Architects  to join our H&M Studio Team. You will share the responsibility to innovate and drive the design of our stores’ “look & feel”, in line with the brand direction and brand identity. You will work project based in cross-functional teams developing both concepts and specific H&M-locations. We are looking for two types of profiles, one profile with a super power in 3D rendering and visualizations while the other profile is a master in holding together cross-functional work stream and has experience in driving large implementation & deployment of program. In addition, we see that you will act as an informal leader to support and guide colleagues in architectural design and architectural development assignments to ensure high quality deliveries. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

To design and develop high quality, commercial, functional and sustainable architectural design and concepts, constantly strive to find innovative, cost-efficient and circular solutions.

• Co-create and collaborate to realize retail concepts and architectural design in line with briefs and business needs along with other stakeholders.
• Specific related responsibilities & experience may include:
• Research and keep up to date in design, trends, competitors, materials, and techniques.
• Create impactful 3D renderings and visualizations with a variety of scales and project types.
• Highly creative and innovative, can quickly synthesize complex design problems into concrete solutions.
• Skilled in both sharing and applying new ideas to problems, tasks, or situations.
• Excellent collaborator, able to effectively collaborate with diverse groups of people and with cross functional teams to achieve goals.

Qualifications

We believe that you have a positive and creative attitude and always strive for improvement. You are structured and organized. You have a good sense for a high service level and teamwork but are also able to work independently.

• Minimum B.Sc. within relevant field of studies, i.e. Architecture & Design or Interior Design
• Well documented experience of working with conceptual development and owning it from ideation to implementation – showcased thru shared portfolio
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience either agency or client side.
• Fluent in relevant asset suite including but not limited to AutoCAD, Enscape, Revit, Rhino and Sketchup.
• Experience and familiarity with programs such as Maya, Unreal and PBR is further meriting.
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to travel when required

Additional Information

Both roles are permanent position starting as soon as possible, based at H&M office in Stockholm, Sweden. You will report to the Global Head of Studio .
