DTC Planning & Allocation Trainee

Reports to: DTC Buying Manager

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team is responsible for enhancing the consumer experience and optimizing the profitability of our own channels: stores, concession spaces, outlets and e-commerce. We ensure that we manage operations efficiently and that our customers receive outstanding service, while promoting sales growth through strategic planning and resource allocation – delivering the right product, at the right time, in the right quantities.

DTC Planning & Allocation Trainee

As a DTC Planning & Allocation Trainee, you'll dive into the details of inventory management and product distribution across all owned channels. This position is designed for individuals eager to gain comprehensive insights into retail planning, inventory management and data-driven decision-making.

What you can expect:

• Work closely with the DTC Planning & Allocation team and participate in regular meetings to understand the planning and allocation process for all own channels.

• Assist in analyzing historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand accurately.

• Help develop and maintain detailed sales and inventory strategies across different channels and product categories.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory plans with sales forecasts and operational targets.

• Monitor and adjust product allocations based on sales performance and inventory levels to optimize stock efficiency and reduce surplus.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Business Central and Madden is a plus.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior internship or work experience in retail planning, inventory management or related fields is a plus.
